No New York Teams in the NFL Playoffs Again!

Yet another year where New York has no team make it to the NFL playoffs. The Bills looked like they might make a go of it till they made a bonehead play last week. They should have let Lindell take the boot to win the game. He was having a career day w/ 5 FGs to that point. 1999 was the last year that New York had a playoff entrant. Hopefully next year the Bills w/ take the next step. Lee Evans, McGahee, Loshman & a great defense should help get it done.

What about the Jets & Giants? It does look like New Jersey has a great chance to place two teams in the playoffs this year. The Giants beat Washington to most likely get in & the Jets should win today. Since both these teams play in New Jersey I think it's hight time they rename them to New Jersey to properly reflect their home.

Grizzlies Demise

The woeful Grizzlies have fallen fast and hard. They now have the worst record & worst attendance in the NBA. Can they turn things around? It's possible, but doubtful. For the eternal optimist Rudy Gay is doing very well, Pao is back & Greg Oden will be a good addition next year. The Grizzlies can turn around the attendance figures by simply comping a few thousand additional tickets per game as they'd done prior to moving to FedEx Forum. Another way to raise attendance would be to cut ticket prices by around 50%. Every year the Grizzlies have raised ticket prices since they've been in Memphis.
